[FULL] Memento - Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu 2nd Season ED - Piano Arrangement [Synthesia]

Описание к видео [FULL] Memento - Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu 2nd Season ED - Piano Arrangement [Synthesia]

After a week of trying to catch up to other things, I've finally found the time to hammer out my arrangement for the full version of Memento - Ending Theme to Re:Zero season 2! It's... probably not one of my standard arrangements, in terms of how I structured it.

The TV-size is exactly how it was before: it starts out with a peaceful beginning, and then the prechorus at 0:35 hints at a sign of "darkness" and suspense, before it explodes into the chorus melody at 0:50. After a brief recall of the intro, I do something something I don't normally do in my arrangements: artistic discretion :)

The second verse/prechorus at 1:29 in the original song was switched around and I took the initiative to turn that section into a tense and slightly difficult on the ears section, filled with dissonance and cluttered held notes via a seemingly abused sustain pedal. I also reintroduce the ostinato that was originally in the first prechorus, at 1:44 into the left hand, on top of everything that's already been happening, all while adding the verse melody. The song becomes less cluttered and more directed as I approach the second chorus, and after a recall of the dissonant run in the right hand, the chorus melody once again runs clear.

After all the hell that Subaru has gone through, he finally deserves a little bit of rest... and so he gets it at 2:30. Not for long, because he's once again ramping up into another fight, as the chorus slowly gets reintroduced at 3:04... once again exploding into the full melody at 3:20.

But it doesn't end there.

The original ostinato, first introduced in the first prechorus, makes an appearance again, as a countermelody in the chorus, at 3:34. And as if that wasn't enough, the E - F - E - F - E background line that was found in the second prechorus is now found in the left hand part at 3:43. After a "fake outro" at 3:49, the full "real outro" begins, collecting ideas from throughout the arrangement and mashing them all together... before finally recalling the intro at 4:37 and exiting the song.

Rather abruptly.

Well it was the first time writing a description like Animenz and now I see why he does it.

It's actually quite fun writing these.

Except I just used up some of my homework time.

Enjoy!

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Is this playable?
A: Well... all jokes aside, all my arrangements are made to be played by one person!

Q: My hands can't reach that far! How is this possible?
A: All my arrangements can be played if you can reach a 10th (C to next octave E). If there is a stretch that seems longer than that, consider using the other hand, or possibly the sustain pedal! Keep in mind that my Synthesia videos are based on my sheets, so the colours may not match the hand it's supposed to be played with.
