Concrete Spin Screed used by amateurs for their first pour.

Lead by an experienced contractor we poured 7 yards of concrete in about 15 minutes. Concrete was 4K mix, 6% air, 3" slump before Super Plasticizer was added to make a 7.5" slump. None of us had any real concrete placement and finishing experience. I purchased the Spin Screed and in 2 days it was delivered. I bought the pipe locally to save on shipping costs.
My Contractor friend thought it was a gimmick but after we used it he took a video for his boss at one of Pittsburgh's largest concrete carpenter companies
At $1600 dollars it was an investment but I can rent it out if needed and it saved me from hiring a crew of finishers by doing the work myself. I have new project ideas now!
