Apple Gives NFC Access to EU for 10 Years | Settlement News

The European Union has struck a major settlement with Apple over antitrust concerns around its NFC chip and mobile payments. According to reports, Apple will allow third-party payment platforms to access the NFC functionality on its devices across the 27 EU member states for the next decade.
