9th Class Computer science New Book 2020 | Chapter 2 Lecture 2 | Decimal To Hexadecimal Conversions

In this video lecture of class 9th computer science new book 2020 chapter 2 , the decimal and hexadecimal number systems in a computer and number system conversions from one number system to another will be explained. The Punjab Curriculum Text Book Boar (PCTB) has revised the syllabus of computer science of 9th class for the session 2020-2021. NUMBER SYSTEMS:
1) Decimal:
The Decimal number system has base 10 as it uses ten digits.

2) Binary:
The Binary number system has base 2 as it uses two digits.

3) Hexadecimal:
The Hexadecimal number system has base 16 as it uses 16 digits.

NUMBER SYSTEM CONVERSIONS:
-From Decimal to Binary and Hexadecimal
-From Binary and Hexadecimal to Decimal
-BINARY SYSTEM TO DECIMAL SYSTEM

To Convert Binary Number into Decimal number we use expansion by 2 method.
To Convert Decimal Number into Binary number we use repeated division by 2 method.
