RWD RC Drift: Sakura D5S Upgrade Chassis and Shocks

I have finally done some upgrades to this chassis!!!
Honestly - this drifts so well out of the box, that I have been reluctant to do much to it. BUT - after over a year of usage, I noticed my shocks are starting to stick a little.

I thought of just getting a whole new D5 v2 kit - heck, the price is VERY reasonable. Instead, in a moment of reckless abandon, I purchased the 3Racing factory upgrade shocks, plus upper and lower chassis!

But I goofed there. I thought I was getting the carbon fiber upper and lower - NOPE! I just got the carbon uppers. The lower was aluminum.
This is not a huge mistake. I was looking for increased rigidity, and lower weight. Based on the design, the weight ends up almost equal, so we can roll with it.

In this video, I show the assembly and install of these parts, and then testing them at the track!
