Join me and my good friends Kevin, John and Adam as we embark on an unforgettable day of metal detecting at a colonial 1700s farm field! We were invited to explore a piece of land with some incredible history, but we had no idea what treasures were hidden beneath the surface. As we started our search, we stumbled upon what we believe to be a Native American site from the Woodland Period, dating to nearly 2000 years old. We were amazed to find multiple arrowheads and projectile points just lying on the surface, thousands of years of history waiting to be discovered!

But that’s not all! My luck turned when I dug up an 1845 U.S. Silver dime, an uncommon find worth nearly 500X its face value. It was an incredible moment to unearth such a valuable piece of American history in the middle of a random farm field. The excitement didn’t stop there, as we continued to recover more relics, coins, and artifacts from the 17th and 1800s.
