Withings Steel 30 Day Review

After 30 days of owning a Withings smartwatch I decided to return the device. This was their newest smart tracker, fitness watch, and smartwatch with heart-rate tracking as of 11/2016. A full four weeks plus of testing was more than sufficient. However, it has been about two week and... I miss the device. Why was it returned?
1. The step count around the office and home was off by over 50%
2. The LED screen font size was too small for my aging eyesight to read while running or jogging outside
3. I was unable to have anyone join me on social media; ergo, this led me to believe not enough folks use the Withings brand and I would really need a leaderboard for motivation.
4. customer support was lacking when I approached them of the inaccuracy of step counts with shorty movements; whereas the Garmin and Fitness trackers both appear to detect those steps just fine and only miss circa 5 - 15%

End results
1. a fabulous looking watch that does not look like a geeky smart watch
2. the battery life last well beyond three weeks even with working out and tracking my HR the entire three week period
3. the analog face was so easy to use
4. the watch interface was simply to navigate
5. the Withings app was packed full of features and worked well with the device
6. when walking outside, or going for long walks from office suite to office suite, up and down stairs, outdoor running, jogging, and walking the accuracy of the step count was spot on...
