This is a fully detailed CAD drawing of a primary timber beam connected to a reinforced concrete column with steel U shaped casing support plate.

This connection is a full moment connection with the timber beam resting onto to U pocket horizontal plate and fully bolted on site with through bolts. The U shaped pocket sleeve is connected to the reinforced concrete column with a secondary plate on the opposite side with fully threaded through bolts cast inside the concrete column.

The detail can be used with any composite ( timber and concrete ) design. Easily adjust beam and bolt sizing to help designers save time.
