Narankar Devta ki Pujai- Khaldhar, Pauri.(नरंकार देवता की पुज़ाई) Part- 2

This traditional Puja happens after every 12 years. It is done to worship our Kul Devta "Narankar Devta". People from nearby villages are invited to take part in it. At night, the deities from each village present themselves and people take their blessings. Next morning, deities are given a holy bath of Turmeric and Herbs. After this, all the people go towards the Paiyan tree to cut down it's branch. No-one comes back to home until the Garud Bird comes to the venue. After seeing the bird, everyone comes back and pays their respect to the gods and the ceremony ends. This year 2019, it was done by Nanswal Rawat Clan of "Khaldhar Village" in District- Pauri. Last time it was held in 2002. The whole Khaldhar village participated in the Ceremony and because of the whole village hard work and active participation, everything happened successfully.

यह पूजा हर १२ साल बाद होती है। इसमें हम अपने कुल देवता श्री नरंकार देवता को पूजते है। इसमें आस पास के सभी गाँव को बुलाया जाता ह और सभी गाँव के देवता पूरी रात भर अपने दर्शन देते है और लोग उनका आशीर्वाद लेते है। अगली सुभा सभी के कुल देवताओं को हल्दी एवं जड़ी बूटियों से स्नान कराने के बाद नए वस्त्र धारण करवाये जाते है। इसके बाद गाजे बाजे के साथ देवता और समस्त लोग पैयाँ काटने जाते है और जब तक गरुड़ के दर्शन नहीं होते तब तक वापस नहीं आते। घर आने के पश्चात् भेंट चढ़ाई जाती है और पूजा समाप्त होती है। इस साल २०१९ में यह पूजा खलधार गाँव के नंसवाल रावत परिवार के द्वारा करवाई गयी थी। पूजा में पूरे खलधार गाँव ने बढ़ चड़कर हिस्सा लिया और पूरे गाँव की सहायता और मेहनत से यह पूजा सफलता पूर्वक धूम धाम से हुई।
