Palak Ragi Roti Recipe

Ingredients:

Ragi Flour (Finger millet) – 1 cup
Wheat flour – 1/2 cup
Spinach, blanched n chopped – 1 Cup
Half Onion grated
Red chilli powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Cumin powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Ajwain – 1/4 teaspoon
Salt as taste
Process:

Mix all ingredients in bowl. Gradually add lukewarm water to make a soft dough.
Set aside for half an hour to raise the dough.
Divide in equal balls to roll into slightly thick roti. Place on heated tawa, cook on both sides with medium flame. Apply ghee / low fat butter and serve hot with curd.

1 Mangalorean cucumber , Peel
2 Dry Red Chillies
2 teaspoon White Urad Dal (Split)
2 teaspoon Chana dal (Bengal Gram Dal)
18 grams Tamarind
1 teaspoon Jaggery
To temper
1 tablespoon Oil
1 teaspoon Mustard seeds (Rai/ Kadugu)
1 sprig Curry leaves
How to make Karnataka Style Southekayi Seppe Chutney Recipe (Mangalore Cucumber Peel Chutney Recipe)
We begin making the Southekayi Seppe Chutney Recipe (Mangalore Cucumber Peel Chutney Recipe) by peeling the skin of the mangalore cucumber. Keep the flesh for later use.

Heat Kadai with oil, fry these chopped peel till it is soft. Then take them out. In the same kadai, add the urad dal, chana dal and roast them for 2 minutes.

Once done grind along with the rest of the ingredients mentioned above including the Mangalore peel.

Season it with salt if required and put it into a serving cup. Heat a small kadai, and temper the ingredients by crackling the mustard seeds and curry leaves and pour it over the chutney.
