💔 A Mother’s Cry for Survival: Help Taḥrir and Her Five Children in Gaza
Introduction
“I am pleading for your help to give my children even a small chance of a future. We don’t ask for much—only food, water, medicine, and dignity.” — Taḥrir, Gaza
Full Story
Taḥrir, a 34-year-old mother of five, was born and raised in Gaza. Before the war, she and her family lived a quiet and modest life, rooted in dignity, family values, and hope for a better tomorrow. But when the relentless bombardment began, everything was shattered in an instant.
Her home was destroyed. Her husband is now trapped in a besieged area, and she has not heard from him in weeks. Left alone, she struggles to raise five children in a tattered tent that offers no protection from Gaza’s searing days and freezing nights.
“Most nights, we go to bed hungry. There is no food. My children cry, and I have no answers.”
The suffering is overwhelming:
Taḥrir has painful skin infections and swollen feet, making it difficult to walk.
Her daughter suffers from burns on her feet, requiring ointments that are far beyond their reach.
Two of her children urgently need prescription glasses for serious vision problems.
Without clean water, disease spreads quickly in the overcrowded, unsanitary conditions of the displacement camp.
Despite her pain, Taḥrir continues to fight for her children’s survival. She does not seek luxury—only the basic human rights: food, clean water, medical care, and the chance for her children to live in dignity.
“We are not numbers. We are mothers, fathers, sons, daughters—real people living a real tragedy.”
