Versatility in the water. This is an important attribute of Deep End Fitness athletes. As showcased by our Santa Barbara crew (Depth Training Inc.) our athletes train far beyond swimming and treading.

While these are movements we incorporate into our sessions, DEF athletes need to be just as comfortable below the surface as we are above it. This requires a skillset centered around psychological control and the ability to stay calm when at depth. This is especially important during drills where athletes have to rely on their partner to dictate the pace of their movement

Our sessions also incorporate strength movements through calisthenics and weighted calisthenics so that our athletes are equipped for the rigors of moving weight around the bottom of the pool.
