Tokui waza

Don’t just choose 1 or 2 skills to be your favorite it makes you too predictable. Instead choose an entry and start learning the common defensive reactions from people.

This is an example using my first entry inside over. I can study the common reactions and know what to do when I encounter them. There are more options to consider than just this but for this video I chose a few examples.

The first is head control to koshi garuma or harai goshi

Second if the head doesn’t come forward push the head to the side and attack to the backward direction with O soto.

Third was if the head leans away from you. The you use the lapel grip to stay close and rotate to attack the other side with tai otoshi or sumi gaeshi

4th was the stiff arm defense, so trap and attack the long extended arm with tai otoshi or harai goshi.
