Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Torna The Golden Country - Bringer of Chaos Hurricane Anise

Описание к видео Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Torna The Golden Country - Bringer of Chaos Hurricane Anise

I had restarted new game plus so took a while to get back to this Superboss fight. This shows a strategy to use against Golden Monster Hurricane Anise in Bringer of Chaos difficulty mode. To make this fight manageable, this is the only one in the Torna DLC that I needed to use critical healing (no teamheal QTpi in this game).

Anise is completely IMMUNE to Break. So, cannot use driver combos or fusion combos. Warning Cry is his reinforcements art. Each Apostle Rhogul that gets summoned will lock one part of the party gauge.

Battle Strategy:
Hugo's talent art Imperial Tether forces aggro on him temporarily. It's basically his "tank button". This is important as Hugo can evade or withstand damage much better than the other two party members, especially when there's several enemies in the field. Keep using this periodically to force aggro (keep the red target aggro circle on him).

First part of the fight is to build up party gauge and try to get 5, maybe 6, orbs up. Crystal earrings help to build enough gauge before Warning Cry. Pouch items boost both arts and specials recharge. Modern medals will help party survive. Goal is to take off around half the life bar by using a chain attack right before Warning Cry art calls in reinforcements. I have tried before to take out the reinforcements and then try to chain attack again. This usually fails as Anise can easily call in even more reinforcements. Before chain attack, make sure to switch in Brighid periodically to help charge War Pyre.

Second half relies heavily on Hugo's tanking (especially after enrage) to survive. Keep aggro on Hugo with periodic use of Imperial Tether (not just Anise, but the Rhogul enemies too). Keep doing as many specials as possible until Anise goes down. Switching to Brighid periodically is useful and helps charge War Pyre for more damage.

If I were to do this video again, I would have Hugo use an ice sword as Anise becomes weak to ice when enraged.

Setup: There is no particular rhyme or reason for the elemental choices for the drivers. I just left my last setup on for this video. Recommend ice sword on Hugo for your attempts.

In new game plus, you'll have 2 legendary crystal earrings and multiple common tiered ones. If you play new game plus twice, then you can get 3 legendary tiered crystal earrings.
