💦 You can actually walk BEHIND this waterfall — and it’s in Wales.

In this video, I explore the Llwybr Sgwd yr Eira Trail, one of the most unique short hikes in Waterfall Country, Brecon Beacons. This scenic walk leads to Sgwd yr Eira, a powerful Welsh waterfall where a natural rock ledge allows you to pass behind the curtain of falling water — an experience very few places in the UK offer.

This hike may be short, but it’s packed with drama: steep wooded paths, river crossings, mist-filled air, and the unforgettable moment where you step behind the waterfall itself. The name Sgwd yr Eira means “Fall of Snow”, and once you’re there, you’ll understand why — especially after rainfall when the spray fills the gorge.
