New season , fresh hopes , A kayak fishing adventure in Scotland .

I am so glad they never stopped people from going kayaking and fishing . The weather sightly improved this week and the thick ice started to defrost . Condition were pretty dour on (lock Doon ). The water temperature was only 2 degrees C and I truly think we made the most of it . Winter fishing is to me frozen toes and finger tips but Tam and I kept on going . We did managed a few fish using the Zman ticklers and other drop shot methods . Tam made lunch and poured the Bovril , this latest kept us warm . Good to be out early in 2021 and hopefully more adventures to follow . Outdoor and fishing is excellent . Don't be a tosser and if you can release the fish .
