We have news that Amy Cooper has been charged in Manhattan for falsely reporting an incident in the third degree against Christian Cooper. The story was that Amy Cooper refused to put her dog on a leash, and then said she would call the police on black man Christian Cooper, who was simply watching brids. At the time, her dog was taken and she lost her job at Franklin Templeton

This is good news, and it was the right move by Manhattan D.A. Cy Vance, Jr.

Here is his press release: “Today our Office initiated a prosecution of Amy Cooper for Falsely Reporting an Incident in the Third Degree. Our office will provide the public with additional information as the case proceeds. At this time I would like to encourage anyone who has been the target of false reporting to contact our Office. We are strongly committed to holding perpetrators of this conduct accountable.”

Some have deemed her behaviour Karen in it's nature. I don't disagree.
