I build a cheap inexpensive DIY ring light for shooting video out of scrap plywood and daylight balanced LED self-adhesive strip lights. It could be used for amateur film making, or interviews. I used the table saw, the band saw, a drill, and a jig saw but you could do everything with just a jig saw and a drill if you didn't have any of the other tools.
