What you should know about driving in Portugal

The Expats Portugal team invite you to take a look what you need to get yourself on the road and what to expect when driving in Portugal.

We are pleased to have motoring experts, the Automobile Club of Portugal (ACP) to guide us through the process of exchanging licences as well as offering us some useful driving tips for Portugal.

The ACP is recognised as Portugal's largest club and was founded over 100 years ago in 1903!

If you have a driving licence, part of the process of becoming a resident in Portugal involves exchanging it for a Portuguese one. This has certain deadlines and paperwork to be completed. Join us to make sure you have everything in order and know what to expect in the process.

Also, with driving styles and etiquette often varying from country to country, ACP will be helping us to understand what it's like on the road and giving you their top tips for driving in Portugal.

The session begins and ends with a look at electric vehicles in Portugal too.
