Even more so than in other music genres, in house, I've always felt the passion that drives people behind it. You often hear voice samples in house records, describing the feeling generated by this music and the culture behind it.
Frankie Knuckles, once said that clubs are “like churches, by the time the preacher gets going (DJ), the whole room becomes one". House took a small parts of its roots in gospel and there are still hints of that to this day.
