Toyota Motor Philippines offers the Toyota Wigo, an entry-level hatchback designed for young professionals living in cities or those purchasing their first vehicle. The Toyota Wigo radiates joy and excitement from every aspect giving its aggressive front fascia, rear spoiler, and third brake light. The Wigo holds the title as one of the country's best-selling vehicles year after year.

The Wigo is currently constructed using the Daihatsu New Global Architecture (DNGA-A). The J, E, and top-of-the-line G are the three Wigo hatchback models available. Toyota is bringing back a Continuously Variable Transmission for the 2024 model, which replaces the outdated four-speed automatic.

The rear occupants of the Toyota Wigo have plenty of legroom. Eight-inch infotainment screens with steering wheel controls and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility are standard on E and higher model variations. These days, airbags, ABS, and hill-start control are standard. A push-start button is unique to the high-end G model. The 1.0-liter gasoline 1KR-VE engine, which powers the Toyota Wigo, produces 66 horsepower and 89 Nm of torque. It is offered with a CVT or a five-speed manual transmission.
