How to replace side view mirror glass 2015 - 2017 Ford Transit

In this video, we will tell you how to replace your side view mirror glass for your 2015 2016 2017 Ford Transit with a new kit from https://www.sideviewparts.com.

This video is specifically for the 2015 2016 2017 Ford Transit but it generally applies across most vehicles.

OE Part Numbers that these instructions may work for include CK4Z17K707A, CK4Z17K707D, CK4Z17K707C, CK4Z17K707B.

Please note if your mirror has the heated mirror icon in the upper corner. This will require a few extra steps which are included in this video.

Step 1

Using a plastic pry tool or flat head screwdriver, pry the mirror free from its mount.


Step 2

The mirror should pop free easily. If you have heated mirrors, there will be wires connected to the back so don't pull the mirror glass away from its housing


Step 3

If you don't have heated mirrors, skip this step.

If you do have heated mirrors, lift the mirror up from a corner to locate the wires. Take note of which color wire goes where. In this case, red/black is on the left side and solid black is on the right side. Simply pull the wires to disconnect them


Step 4.

On the back of your new mirror glass, Slide the included metal springs into their mounts. It may take moderate pressure to get them in but they will click into place.

Step 5

If you don't have heated mirrors skip this step.

Push the two female wire connectors back onto their male connectors on the mirror, making sure to put the wires back the way you previously notated them


Step 6

Line up the mirror inside its frame and simply push it in until you hear it snap into place then adjust the mirror from inside your vehicle to have the proper viewing angle and that's it. You're all done.
