Following President Biden's State of the Union Address, Michigan's 4th District Congressman Bill Huizenga joined ABC 57 for a live interview.

During the conversation, Congressman Huizenga discussed how President Biden presented an overly rosy picture of the economy while families across Michigan and Indiana are facing inflation and soaring costs on everything from groceries to gasoline.

Congressman Huizenga also talked about the need to get our nation's spending under control to help address the challenges families and small businesses are facing as well as some of the areas where Democrats and Republicans can work together such as improving care and results for veterans as well as strengthening and improving mental health resources.

The interview closed with Congressman Huizenga sharing his small business background and his efforts to protect and preserve the Great Lakes as the Co-Chair of the Great Lakes Task Force.
