1917, things are getting worse and worse for Germany. The Eastern front is far from won, the Western front is just as bad. They need to do one final major operation to push it over the edge, so that they can win this war.

Luckily for Germany, the Russian revolution came, making it that they would only need to focus on one front. Germany immediately pulled all forces from east to west and started one final, major operation, to cut off the allied troops from each other, and most importantly, from the United States. This operation would be called "The Spring Offensive".
