Fall Planter Decorating Idea With Halloween Accents! Outdoor Fall Decorating - Decorate with me!

Easily create a warm and inviting Autumn planter for your front porch with a hint of spooky Halloween style! In this fall decorating video, I'll show you how to decorate a planter for fall using a variety of artificial fall stems, warm orange string lights, & spooky lawn stakes! This outdoor fall decorating idea is the perfect accent for either side of your front door, on a porch, next to a walkway, by a garage door - and so many more places! With a mix of fall & Halloween, this planter will bring cozy autumn style into the Halloween season! If you would like to keep the look fall, use other lawn stakes instead such as a pumpkin stake, squirrel stake, or other symbols of the Autumn season! For this planter design, I reused florals from previous seasons arrangements - except for the Dollar Tree round leaf stems (that I thought were a fun addition!) Though you can follow closely to this design if you like, if you come across other florals that you "fall" in love with - have fun coordinating a whole new design of your own! Creating a planter design is fun, and when I come up with a design, I keep these few things in mind:
- Choose a floral with some height for the back of the planter
- Choose a floral for filler (for around the edge and any other gaps in the design)
- Choose middle filler stems with either contrasting colors, textures, shapes - or all three!
- Make sure the floral looks like it can be used where you want to decorate with it. Some florals are paper-like and would not weather well outdoors.
- So many combinations are possible! Mostly, if you have enough of each item balanced throughout the arrangement, it should look great in the end!
- Don't judge your arrangement until it is completed - sometimes it just needs more of something to bring the design together!
