All videos and photos were shot in full time autofocus for videos and auto mode for pictures, and D Lighting was turned off.
This was before I find out how to set focus manually for photos and videos and activated D Lighting. All videos were handheld.

My opinions on this camera is that it is excellent for its age, 9 out of 10 photos comes out with realistic color even when zooming in on a subject (s), though it's best to take multiple photos just to be safe.

That being said it really suffered from the unreliable full time autofocus in video mode, sometimes it works well and sometimes it struggle a lot to focus on subject, I should note that this doesn't happen in photography. Thankfully you can set the P510 to use manual focus instead, it's kinda tricky but it was worth it. The only drawback was you can't utilize digital zoom when using manual focus.
