About Asavari Pawar – Kathak Maestro | Indian Classical Dance Performer & Teacher**

Asavari Pawar, renowned as The Dancing Jewel of India, is an internationally acclaimed Kathak dancer, choreographer, and teacher. A versatile solo, duet, and group performer, she is the daughter and disciple of Padma Shri Guru Pratap Pawar (MBE), a legendary figure in the world of Indian classical dance.

Trained under both her father and the esteemed Pandit Vijai Shankar (Sangeet Natak Akademi Awardee), Asavari has mastered the Lucknow gharana of Kathak. With decades of experience, she has performed at prestigious festivals and cultural events across India, the UK, Europe, and beyond.

Asavari also dedicates her time to **training students in Kathak dance, preserving and promoting India’s rich classical dance heritage for future generations.
