The night view of the port in downtown Auckland is quite stunning. I captured and recorded the bustling Viaduct Harbour with a stable, handheld stabilizer weighing over one kilogram. It used to be a commercial port on Auckland's waterfront, but today, it is a hub for upscale apartments, hotels, bars, and restaurants, with a plethora of yachts moored in the harbor. It served as the venue for the America's Cup competition hosted by the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron in 2000 and the 2022 New Zealand Rally. During holidays, this place becomes exceptionally lively.
