Established in 1890 this institution is dedicated for women education. Sikkim Chronicle interacts with the principal, teachers, students and well wishers. This SC Exclusive story details on how the Girls High Secondary school, Kalimpong was in the verge of infrastructural depletion but some well wishers came forward to help the institution to get back the glory. The school infrastructure was devastated during the 2011 Earthquake but a philanthropist Ruden Lepcha came forward to rebuild the institution.
