I will show you how I root and install custom ROM Cyanogenmod 12.1 on the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 WiFi SM-T520. This tablet was on the original stock firmware 4.4.2 KitKat and is not scheduled for any future upgrades from Samsung. It is notoriously slow and laggy on the stock software. This newer version 5.1.1 Lollipop makes the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 run much faster and smoother. You can do this yourself if you are comfortable or contact the android experts at iQ Android to take care of this for you.

At the beginning of the video I show the device in download mode. To enter download mode Turn off the android. Then press the volume down, home and power buttons together. You should get a screen asking you to confirm. Next, make sure you have the Samsung drivers installed on your PC. Then connect your Samsung tablet to the computer with the micro USB cable. Open Odin and select the CF auto root package. Press start to flash it. Wait for the device to reboot automatically. Continue to wait until you see a green PASS on your screen inside Odin. Then you can disconnect the USB cable.
