Fairfield Circuitry - Post-rock drones & tones w/ Randy's Revenge, Shallow Water, and Meet Maude

If you think you don't like ring mod pedals it's because you haven't played a good one yet. The Randy's Revenge from Fairfield Circuitry is one of the best ring modulator's ever made, with impeccable all-analog circuitry and a sonic palette that ranges from mellow and synthy, to ringing bell tones, and stinging sizzle (especially when mated with a good fuzz). It's also a hell of a tremolo pedal. In this video I'm using Randy in both capacities, as a tremolo with baritone guitar, paired with Fairfield's equally brilliant Shallow Water on vibrato duty, and as a ring mod with the Jazzmaster, paired up with Fairfield's haunting Meet Maude analog delay. Undulating post-rock atmospherics abound, with guitar sounds that are not always particularly guitar-like - the final chord sequence sounds more like steel drums and dirty bells, and Meet Maude provides an infinite feedback drone that ties the whole thing together.
