INSIDE PRISON RAW: What Our Cameras Saw Every Day

From 2008 - 2011 our cameras were inside a maximum-security juvenile prison as teens served their time behind prison walls. During our time inside, we saw everything from the boredom that sets in after weeks, months and years behind bars, to teens being shackled and escorted to segregation after a fight, to juveniles requesting they be placed in a "time out" chair in order to calm down, to teenager Keandre going before the juvenile "parole board" to plead his case as to why he thought he should be released from prison. An update on prison protocols following our filming is also included in this video.
