Vang Vieng Laos 2022

Vang Vieng is a small town located about 120 km in the north of Vientiane Capital Laos.
It is a backpacker friendly town that attracts tourists from all over the world.
This town is the second most visited places in Laos, famous for beautiful scenery and spectacular views from top of the mountains. It is also famous for outdoor activities and adventure tours such as Kayaking, Rock climbing, Tubing, cycling, trekking, buggy car ride, blue lagoon and caves. And of course the sunrise and sunset view from the viewpoint.

From Luang Prabang to Vang Vieng by bus takes about 6 hrs and only 3.5 hrs ride from Vientiane Capital.
Now it's a lot easier and much faster to travel to Vang Vieng from any of the city mentioned above by high speed train.

Hi folks, NatNomad here. An ex-Buddhist monk from Laos with a big dream of seeing the world. Throughout my time for over 10 years being a monk I kept asking myself one question "What life is like out there beyond the monastery?" and because of this question alone made me take a big step in 2014 when I finally say goodbye to my wonderful monastic life.
And now I'm doing what I've always wanted to do. Though I am not quite sure if I can say that I'm living my dream but you know what I'm loving my new adventure.
