San Diego Travel Vlog and Marine Reunion

Omg guys, this San Diego video is long overdue. In January, my brother, Alex, went to basic training for the Marine's. It was thirteen long weeks without seeing him or hearing his voice - super weird since we saw each other almost daily for our entire lives. My family flew out to San Diego and did some sight seeing at Balboa Park before we were able to go on base and see him. We also went to Square Bar Cafe because their ice cream looked amazing.

For the military reunion, we went to the Marine base and watched presentations and whatnot before we were able to see Alex run the.... After that, we had to go inside and watch another Marine presentation before we finally were able to see him line up for the last time at Family Day. The reunion was intense. My mom ran to her Marine and cried and cried. We were all so excited to see him! After the initial reunion, Alex gave us tours of the Marine Museum and we got to meet his brothers!

Thank you to all of the men and women that have or are serving our country. My brother is just one of many that chose to put their lives on the line to protect ours.
