Hike app failed even after being the first Indian Social Media App.

Hike messenger only developed Indian Social Media App which was started with a vision of bringing India online with the introduction of something that is unique and creative. It was launched as an Indian super app with many interesting features like stickers, cricket scores, chatting, gaming, etc. but what happened ? In spite of bringing so much innovation, hike messenger failed in India and was completely shut down in january 2021.

Hike messenger had a lot of features as compared to its primary competitor Whatsapp. It came as a super app and covered the journey to becoming a sticker chat app, a content and games hub, a cricket score destination, and a news channel in seven regional languages. Basically availability of so much content at a time became the reason for its failure. Due to all these features, it could not come up with one unique feature as its USP.
