Sorry I told everyone to look for a Cloud Peak Wilderness video for mid July…I went to Alaska instead!!! This is the first video of 2. We stay at Skilak and Merganser lakes while we spend a few days fishing the world famous Kenai River at Bing’s landing!! We got there before the full on sockeye salmon run arrived but still 35,000+ salmon per day were entering the river! In 2 days we caught 17 sockeye averaging 13 lbs a fish!! Incredible fishing and incredible scenery!! Bucket list adventure! My next video will be the incredible Cook Inlet and the amazing town of Homer! Look for it in a couple days!! Enjoy!!
