Hi everyone. My name's Rebecca with VoIP Supply and today we are going to be taking a look at Fanvil's X305 Big Button Phone. We're going to be taking it out of the box, getting it set up, and reviewing some key features. So let's get going. All right, let's get the phone out of the box. We have our quick installation guide here. We have some stickers that we're going to be looking at. And of course, here's our phone and our handset. And underneath here, our stand and cords. So let's get this plugged in. So let's get this stand out here. Very easy to set that one up. Next, we'll get the handset going. Okay, and it's easily labeled here for us to know what goes where. All right, so we are going to be powering this up today with POE, but there is an option for a power supply. And let's plug it in.
And now let's take a closer look at the key features and the functionality of this phone. Additionally, we'd like to introduce you to the Fanvil KT10 Wireless Key. This is an SOS button, AKA a help button that is compatible with the Fanvil X305 Big Button Phone. This is a nice addition to have, so you can take this on your person. For more information about this device, please check out the links in the description below. So to start, you're probably wondering what M1, M2, M3, and M4 are on this phone here. Well, this phone came with little squares of people to show you that these four buttons up here can be customized to either photos or names or numbers of your friends or family members or whoever you would like to be placed here on speed dial. So you just pop off the top of this plastic here and you insert whoever you want to continue here. You're going to see that of course this big button phone has some pretty big buttons, easy to navigate.
Here on the right-hand side is going to be your volume up and down, a large speakerphone button, a redial button, voicemail. The help button is very cool because it is customizable. You can set this to 911. You can set this to the front desk or whoever's going to be your main source of help here. And up here you've got your call log, contact, and voicemail. You'll see that the date and time are large and pronounced up here. So this phone is going to be great for a hospital or a nursing home, whoever's going to really need to have some larger buttons. Over here we've got your handset. Of course, it's very light, but it's very sturdy at the same time. And as you start typing, the numbers show up very large. Now let's take a look at some additional features of the Fanvil X305 Big Button Phone.
The Fanvil X305 Big Button Phone has a 3.5-inch pixel color display. We've got a Linux operating system with two sip lines with four customizable photo speed dials, six-party audio conferencing, and built-in dual-band WiFi available. This phone can be powered via POE or by power supply. Not only does this phone have big buttons, but it has have loud volume as well. A couple last things. We really want to make sure that you guys know that this is one of the clearest screens we have ever seen. It looks crystal clear, it looks awesome. A few other features as far as the volume goes. You can test the volume by lowering it and raising and you get a cool little tone with that. And if you want to use your speakerphone, you can also raise and lower the volume before you go in and type anything.
