Welcome to my Colombia travel series. With this series, I am trying to inform YOU the best I can and give you all the knowledge I gained while travelling through Colombia for one month in July 2024. Many videos on youtube mention that you have to decline the conversion rate, but nobody tells you that this is only possible during weekdays. However, this information is crucial for planning! We wanted to get money for our Amazon trip, but were not allowed to decline the conversion rate offered by the bank, which cost us around 10% of our money to be lost in fees. DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE.
