Welcome, all to Morgaine Mondays! This week's watercolour tutorial is this simple, pretty cluster of spring snowdrops. Cheering on a gloomy day. I'm also trying out this square Arches cold pressed paper block for the first time.

Equipment List: today I'm using this lovely Arches block of watercolour paper, square size 20cm x 20cm, or 7.9 inches x 7.9 inches; the paper is 100% cotton, Cold Pressed with a lovely texture, and is weight 140lb or 300gsm. My colours today are: Quinacridone Gold, Turquoise, Ultramarine Blue, and White Gouache. The brushes I use are a large Daler Rowney Aquafine Skyflow 2 inch wash brush; an Escoda Ultimo synthetic mop brush size 10; a Princeton Neptune synthetic round brush size 4; and a Daler Rowney Aquafine fan brush size 2. I also use Pebeo drawing gum, a Grafix rubber cement pick-up, and some regular table salt.
