Video one for the Emersons Green and Lyde Green 'Press and Print' activity kit!

Made to accompany your free local creative community kit, this video gives you all the tips and tricks you need to collect wild flowers in your local area this month.

Things you will need in order to collect flowers in the green spaces near you:
A nice sunny day!
The wild flower spotter-sheet and map
A pen, a pair of gloves (perhaps) and a pair of sharp scissors or shears
A phone to take photos and record locations
A plant identification app

Some handy hints to make your flower collecting go like a breeze:
Collect your flowers on a dry and sunny day
Only pick wild flowers, not flowers that look like they belong to someones
Use scissors to cut the flower samples (don't pull up the whole plant)
Only take one of each flower
Take notes, and record locations
Be safe! You are the most important specimen :)
