Winter and the dark days are beautifully portrayed in Die Winterreise, an absolute classic in Franz Schubert's song oeuvre. This journey leads to the unknown, the underworld and seems like a perfect fit for Martijn Cornet and the Ragazze Quartet. The baritone has an impressive background as an opera singer with the Dutch National Opera, Holland Opera and the Aalto Theater (Essen). The four string players are known for their idiosyncratic, theatrical and groundbreaking approach.
