The first pillar of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is to IDENTIFY your pest! Know which insect is a pest, and which ones are beneficial. Beneficial insects are the jewels of cultural methods of the third pillar of IPM, PREVENTION.
This Tuesday Tip will introduce you to common beneficial insects and other arthopods, from eggs - to - adult.
Know the beneficials, and protect the beneficials.
Never assume that insect you found is a bad bug!
