Today, I'm excited to share with you a comforting and fragrant Apple Cinnamon Loaf Cake recipe. This cake is tender, moist, and loaded with chunks of spiced apples, perfect for cozy afternoons or a sweet breakfast treat!

Let’s get started!

Ingredients (Apple Mixture):

2 medium apples, peeled and chopped (about 250–300 g)
30 g brown sugar (about 3 tbsp)
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

Mix the chopped apples with brown sugar and cinnamon. Set aside while preparing the batter.

Ingredients (Cake Batter):

100 g packed brown sugar (about 1/2 cup)
180 g plain or Greek yogurt (about 3/4 cup)
120 ml vegetable or sunflower oil (about 1/2 cup)
2 large eggs, at room temperature
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
220 g all-purpose flour (about 1 3/4 cups)
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt

Cake Pan Size:
22 x 13 x 7 cm (9 x 5 inch) loaf pan

Baking Time:
Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 55–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Prepare the Batter:
In a large bowl, add the eggs, brown sugar, yogurt, oil, and vanilla extract. Whisk together until smooth.

Sift in the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Stir gently until just combined.

Now, fold in the spiced apple mixture.

Bake the Cake:
Grease your loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
Pour the batter into the pan and smooth the top.
Optional: Arrange apple slices on top of the batter and sprinkle a little brown sugar or cinnamon for extra flavor.
Bake for 55–60 minutes.


Let the cake cool in the pan for 10–15 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
Slice and serve warm or at room temperature with your favorite tea or coffee. 🍎🍰✨
