Hamada Roma, a talented athlete who has won the Palestine Championship several times, and like every athlete, dreamed of the medals he was about to accumulate and the next peaks he wanted to conquer in the world. While on his way to competition in Germany, Rome was arrested by Israeli security forces and charged with trying to run over a police officer and a police car theft. Six times his arrest was extended, and the seventh time he was released and explained that he had been arrested in error. After a two-month detention, in severe mental condition and poor fitness, he returned to compete, injured, and his career as an athlete ended.
