Glass Slipper Stiletto Nail Design - Crystal Clear Acrylic - Step by Step Tutorial - Naio Nails

Hi guys,

So in this tutorial, I am doing a Cinderella, I am hoping that a prince is gonna come along with a glass nail that fits my ring finger and whisk me away.

Don't worry though, I'll still do nail videos from my super new studio in the palace we'll both live in. Well, a girl can dream can't she.

Anyway, back to the nail. So having super clear nails is so cool at the minute, but it's not easy to get your acrylic that crystal clear because of those pesky bubbles!

So here I give you some very simple steps to follow to eradicate the air bubbles and give you the most clear acrylic you have ever seen.

1. Make sure you have no bubbles in your brush! Squeeze it out on the bottom of your dappen dish, a nice wide one will help you out with this and make sure you have enough monomer in your dish.

2. DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT bleed your bead out. Place that sucker right onto the nail because if you bleed it out that is where you're gonna start getting air bubbles. Now I know it's gonna be a lot runnier than you're used to but bear with it, the faff is worth it!

3. Now comes the difficult part, you have to get the bead into place with as little manipulation as is humanly possible, because every time you press into the acrylic, you can potentially introduce air bubbles and that is exactly what we're trying to avoid.
