Jeanne Ryan's Greatest Hits

These are 7 of the best songs I wrote as a teen. The first one - Silent Music - was written when I was 11 years old, and the final one when I was 20 (and you can hear the difference in the songwriting!). The first three were produced in the incredible Horizon Studios (New Haven, CT) as a professional demo album to shop around to record companies. Those songs benefited from a professional producer - the amazing Hilly Michaels - who lent his expertise to their sound elements. The latter four songs were written for different occasions in late high school and college, and were recorded on home studios of me and my musician friends.
I left my pop star dreams behind in the late 90s, when I moved on to other pursuits. But I still look back on the incredible experience it was to be a working singer and songwriter so early in life. I am mostly posting these here - with my favorite big hair photos - for friends and family who always appreciated my songwriting.
