Basics:
Using your arms as wings to turn your body. Dip one elbow at a 45 degree downwards and one elbow does the opposite by elevating the elbow upward at a 45 degree angle.

Common mistakes:
Not keeping a straight body.

Keys to success:
Straight body and proper form. Think like you are driving a car, grab the steering wheel with both hands and turn the wheel left or right while maintaining a straight body.
