Pretty sure the only thing Schindler did to these was add chimes on certain elevators (not all for some reason) and maybe upgrade the controller but I can’t confirm that. I’m guessing the buttons were replaced in the 90s by who knows what company.
If you’re wondering about the tape recorder playing Elevator Music in the video… Don’t worry about that. That was just something me and my cousin did for our own personal enjoyment lol.
