Inauguration of the Universal Robina Corporation Flour Sariaya Plant 2024

Demonstrating the Administration’s continuing partnership with the private sector towards achieving a ‘Bagong Pilipinas’, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. joins the Universal Robina Corporation (URC) executives in inaugurating its newest flour plant in Sariaya, Quezon on November 29, 2024.

URC is one of the largest consumer food and beverage product companies in the Philippines, with a significant and growing presence in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). Its Flour Division or the URC Flour is one of the top flour millers in the country with facilities that manufacture customized products fitting the specific needs of customers.

The URC Flour Division Sariaya Plant being inaugurated today features two (2) state-of-the-art flour milling lines with a capacity to mill 1,320 tons of flour per day.

During the program, the President leads the ceremonial pressing of the button signaling the start of plant operations. He also conducts a brief inspection of the facility.
