So the LEDs on my 2006 Toyota Rav4 stopped working when the brake light was pressed. They are very very dim, when the dome lights are on but don't work for braking. The LEDs can't be replaced because they're in cased in plastic. I took the whole light out earlier and connected it to the right tail light connector and saw the same result. I also own an oscillscope and checked the output signals. Everything should work but doesn't. So I bought a new one and this video walks you through that process.
